Dear Sharra, Working on the campaign since Marianne unsuspended, some folks have asked us why do you continue? Isn't Biden the Democratic nominee?
Our response is twofold… |
First, not participating in the political discourse feels like giving up and giving in.
Second, if Marianne is not traveling to meet with people, to share her message or email or post on social media, the conversation about people suffering through very hard times comes to an end.The establishment wants everyone to fall in line and to go along with their agenda. And we are simply not willing to do so.
We think it's important that we keep the conversation going. We continue to stand for folks who can't pay their rent, who are skipping meals to pay bills, who go without health insurance because they can't afford it. We think it matters, and we will not rest until this agenda becomes policy.
With Marianne carrying the message to folks in states who have not yet voted in their primaries, we continue to add to the 400,000 votes we have garnered in the primaries so far. We see what happens wherever Marianne speaks; she sparks inspiration and hope in every audience. We think it's worth it to see this all the way through, and we hope you do too.

P.S. Why Act Now?
Asking these questions is like asking "Why boycott mega companies? Why protest at your City Hall? Why sign petitions?"
Because action matters. And action creates change.
Take action right now and chip in to keep the pressure on political leaders to address Americans' concerns. |
