Dear Sharra, Sometimes people ask me how best to share the message of my campaign. We've come up with a way for anyone to be able to say "Well, if you want to know what she stands for, she's online every Wednesday and Sunday nights at 6pm!"
Our plan? The Firelight Chats.
The purpose of the Chats is to present the ideas and issues I care about, with the kinds of people I listen to and would listen to as president. The chat this week was posted on all my social media channels; Sunday nights we'll do Ask Me Anything on TikTok. My first Firelight Chat was a conversation with writers Jay Kogen and Billy Ray about the writers strike. The writers strike illustrates why the exploitation of workers is bad not only for a particular industry, but for our country as a whole. I hope you'll listen and enjoy.
Next Wednesday, June 14th, my Firelight Chat will be a conversation about Israel and Palestine with Palestinian American political analyst Omar Baddar and J Street's Josh Lockman. Make sure you're there. I think it will be fascinating.
A lot is going on and the energy continues to build. My deep thanks for your support and encouragement as we move forward with the campaign.
May love prevail.
