| Dear Sharra, My head is exploding, my nervous system is imploding. I honestly don't know how much more of this contentious political insanity I can take. The bold-faced lies, the lack of civility, the name calling, the constant spin, the utter lack of understanding, and the crumbling of our democracy. I've known Marianne for 30 years. If you hear she is running for president just on a whim, you're wrong. She first told me of her plans to run for president way back in 1988. In November of 1987, Marianne took me to a fundraiser for a non-profit, benefiting homeless women with children. That night Marianne asked me to take over her fundraising position for this group because she was about to launch Project Angel Food. I said yes, but was terrified, as I had never done anything like this before. With her love, support, and guidance we raised $1 million in the next three years.
