Dear Sharra, The issue of peace-building is both provocative and underspoken in America today. With our campaign, we are fixing that. Yesterday, I spoke at the National Press Club about my proposed plans for a U.S. Department of Peace. It was a great opportunity, carried live on C-SPAN, and I enjoyed it. I had the chance to go into some detail about how American public policy can build peace both domestically and internationally. Here are two short video clips followed by the full speech. Please listen and share the clips with friends! Clip: Until We Decide to be Nonviolent "Ladies and gentlemen, we have to look in the mirror as an American society and realize...we will be violent until we decide to be nonviolent."
