Dear Sharra, Last night I was sitting in the Green Room at the CNN headquarters in Los Angeles, waiting for my satellite interview with Anderson Cooper to begin. While waiting, I watched live onscreen the president's speech in North Carolina. My jaw dropped, and I mean that literally. Even for him, this speech attacking members of Congress specifically and by name – lying about them, smearing them – was like nothing I had ever seen before…or ever thought I would see in the United States of America. And of course, it was perfect timing that my interview was directly following. Here it is for you to see. When asked by Anderson Cooper how love would respond to the president, you can imagine that I had a lot to say! Beginning with this: that sometimes love says NO. I hope you will agree with me that this interview is a good taste of what our campaign for the presidency stands for. I hope you will see it as a reason to support the campaign with your money, spread the word with your contacts, and sign up to volunteer. We are on a roll now, and the only thing separating us from the top-tier contenders is an infrastructure big enough to compete with theirs. For that, we need money. I hope you will give, at whatever level is comfortable for you. Donate Now Below are also some short clips from the interview that you might wish to send out to your contacts.
