Dear Sharra,
Twentieth-century politics are an inadequate conduit for real problem-solving in the 21st. It represents a mindset that treats symptoms but not cause, that registers external data but ignores the deeper meaning of the human experience. The 21st century cries out for a new kind of thinking, and a new kind of politics.
The absurd proposition that corporate profits should take precedence over the health and safety and wellbeing of our citizens has corrupted our politics and is destroying people's lives. From lack of adequate health care and educational opportunities, to carcinogens in our food, to an unfair criminal justice system, to a rigged economic system, to wars fought for defense industry profits, the American people are aware that something has gone very wrong.
A Williamson Presidency represents a new beginning in America, an end to an aberrational chapter of our history and the beginning of a season of repair. In the words of Thomas Paine, "We have it in our power to begin the world over again."
Join us on November 24th as we consider what it means, and what it would take, to disrupt the corrupt and begin again.
