Another poll from Reuters-Ipsos this week shows that 15% of independent voters – the key to defeating the Republican candidate next year – do NOT want a rematch of the 2020 election, and even 9% said they would not vote. This is alarming news for Democrats determined to defeat Donald Trump in 2024. We know that when turnout is low Republicans tend to win.
